You can book a half day visit at Oakthorpe Primary School where you will be able to spend time in class,
observe lessons, speak to teachers and mentors and find out about the programmes we run.

The support 2 Schools gives trainees is above and beyond.

My experience training with 2SC has been incredibly positive, largely due to the continuous support provided by my lead mentor. The regular half-termly review meetings played a key role in keeping me on track, helping me build confidence and take pride in my progress. Having a dedicated school mentor was also invaluable, offering consistent guidance and reassurance throughout the journey. The training sessions led by subject specialists deepened my understanding of pedagogical methods and, more importantly, the rationale behind them, which I was able to apply effectively in my teaching. My second school placement allowed me to teach in a different setting, broadening my experience and exposing me to varied teaching styles and strategies. The provider’s staff, too, were always warm, approachable, and willing to listen, qualities that made a real difference in my training experience. I am genuinely grateful to have trained with 2SC and would highly recommend the program to others pursuing a career in teaching.

The 2Schools Consortium has accredited status. We award QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

The 2Schools Consortium consists of a lead school, Oakthorpe Primary School, Enfield across north London.

Oakthorpe has been successfully involved in teacher training since 2002 and has a wealth of experience in mentoring trainees and in delivering training.
